Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Chipping Sodbury.
The incident took place on Sunday 26th July 2009 at around 1.40am at Chipping Sodbury Rugby Club in Wickwar Road.
The victim was punched in the face several times.
A 40-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
