Police appeal for information following assault on cycle path
Posted on Monday 14th December 2009 at 7:48 pm by SH (Editor)Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was assaulted, while cycling on the Bristol and Bath Railway Path on Tuesday, December 8.
At around 3.30pm the victim was cycling along the path between Staple Hill and Warmley, near to Mangotsfield Station, when he was approached by another male. It’s alleged that the suspect knocked the victim off his bike before punching him in the face and kicking him when he was on the floor.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged 15-16, with black hair about 2 inches long, just over 6 ft tall and of slim build. He was thought to be wearing black clothing, with a black coat done up.
