Appeal for witnesses following assault (Stoke Gifford)

Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted while out walking her dogs on boxing day in Bristol.

At around 12pm on Saturday, December 26, the victim, a 44 year-old woman, was walking her two dogs in the field area on Hatchet Road, Stoke Gifford when she was approached by a group also walking their dogs.

A dispute broke out between the victim and the group and then, its alleged, that a woman within the group assaulted the victim.

The suspect is described as a white female or around 5ft 3ins tall, with short dark hair and wearing a headband, black glasses and a mushroom coloured jacket. It’s believed that the suspect’s dog was of auburn colour.
