Appeal for information following fatal road traffic collision (Keynsham)

At around 5.20pm this evening (April 4) police were called to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, close to the Hicks Gate Roundabout.
The motorcycle – a green Kawasaki – had just travelled onto the A4174 Avon Ring Road, from the Hicks Gate Roundabout, when it’s believed to have come into collision with the central barrier.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s, suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the collision. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Collision Investigation Unit in Weston-super-Mare on 0845 456 7000.
