Appeal for information following assault (Kingswood)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Kingswood on Saturday 25th July.

At around 3am a 27-year-old man was about to enter a fast food outlet on Regent Street when he was approached by an unknown man who assaulted him and dragged him down London street. The assault stopped when a member of the public intervened.

The victim was taken to hospital with an eye injury.

Police are now keen to speak to a man who is described as white, aged in his late 20’s or early 30’s, of a stocky build and around 6 feet tall.

Appeal for information following assault by cyclist (Filton)

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an assault in Filton Avenue, Filton, Bristol.

At around 7pm on Friday July 9 a van driver pulled his vehicle over to speak to a cyclist. The cyclist then became verbally aggressive and caused damaged to the driver’s van.

The victim again tried to approach the cyclist (pictured) for his details and was assaulted.

Police would now like to talk to this man as he may be able to help with enquiries. Anyone who may be able to identify him is asked to call police on 0845 456 7000.

Appeal for witnesses after assault (Warmley)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenager was assaulted in Warmley.

The incident occurred on 7th May 2010 at around 10.30pm on Tower Road South.

The 17-year-old victim was standing at the bus stop when he was approached by three males who repeatedly punched him in the face.

They ran off when the Number 43 bus arrived.

The victim suffered bruising and cuts to his face.

Appeal for witnesses after sexual assault (Yate)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a sexual assault in Meadow Mead, Brimsham near Yate.

The incident occurred on Sunday 18th April 2010 at around 12am.

An unknown offender followed the victim as she entered Meadow Mead via the cut-through from Spar Pools Lake. He took hold of her shoulders from behind before sexually assaulting her.

The offender is described as a white man aged in his mid to late twenties. He was around 5ft 11ins tall and of muscular build. He had distinctive very dark brown eyebrows with short, dark brown spiky hair. He was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a blue tracksuit top. He spoke with a strong Bristolian accent.

Group assaulted on playing fields (Oldland Common)

Police are appealing for witnesses after some friends were assaulted on a playing field.

The incident happened at around 8.20pm on Friday 9 April, 2010. Eight friends in their late teens and early twenties were at Redfield Edge Playing Fields in Oldland Common when they were approached by a group of up to 15 men who were aged 15 or 16-years-old. Approximately five boys became aggressive towards the group of friends. At least three were assaulted, being punched and receiving injuries.

An investigation has begun and enquiries are ongoing to identify the people responsible.
