Appeal after assault in Warmley

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was assaulted in Warmley.

The incident occurred at around 3.15pm on Thursday 13th February 2011 at the junction of the High Street with Stanley Road, Warmley, directly opposite Webbs cycle shop.

A man driving a blue Ford Focus is believed to have been assaulted by the driver of another vehicle – a red Peugeot 206.

In particular officers would like to talk to the female driver of a new shape red Mini Convertible who was in the area at the time.

Appeal after attempted robbery and assault (Kingswood)

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an attempted robbery and assault in Kingswood.

The incident occurred on Thursday 13th January 2011 at around 7pm at the bottom of London Street.

The male victim was asked for his belongings and was then violently assaulted.

The offenders are described as a white man aged 18-19 years old and around 6ft tall and a white man between 14 and 17 years old and around 5ft 5ins tall.

Police investigate sexual assault on 12-year-old girl

Police in South Gloucestershire investigating a sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl are asking for information about a white Ford Escort van.

The girl was assaulted by two men as they travelled around the South Gloucestershire area, and possibly further afield, early on Saturday 1st January 2011.

It is known that the van got stuck in a lane or field and that the two men were helped to free the vehicle by a third man, possibly a farmer. Police are keen to identify the location and the man who helped. It is not thought he would have seen the girl inside the van.

Two men aged 27 and 25 have been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and false imprisonment and bailed.

Appeal for witnesses after incident in Rodway Road (Patchway)

Police were called to Rodway Road, Patchway, Bristol at around 2.30am yesterday morning (Sunday 9th January) following reports that a man had suffered serious injuries to his chest and abdomen.

The man, aged in his twenties, was taken to Frenchay Hospital, where he later died.

Officers are treating his death as suspicious.

A man, also aged in his twenties, has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains in police custody at this time.
