Pedestrian assaulted by driver in Asda car park (Patchway)

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was assaulted in the Asda car park on Highwood Lane, Patchway.

The incident occurred at around 8pm on Wednesday 27th October 2010. The victim, a 29-year-old man, was walking alone though the car park when he noticed a dark, five-door car driving carelessly. He challenged the driver about his behaviour and was subsequently assaulted. He was punched in the face several times which also damaged his glasses. The victim then walked to the front of the vehicle to note down the registration plate and was again punched in the face. At this point he walked away and called the police.

An investigation is underway to trace the vehicle and identify the person responsible for the attack. Anyone who witnessed the incident or knows the person responsible is asked to contact Avon and Somerset Police on 0845 456 7000.

Appeal after man assaulted in Kingswood

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was assaulted in Kingswood.

The incident occurred yesterday (Sunday 31st October) at around 11pm on Hanham road, Kingswood near to Beacon’s Rise School.

A 21-year-old man was approached by a dark coloured vehicle. A man got out of this vehicle and hit the victim on the back of the head causing him to fall to the floor.

When he regained consciousness, the vehicle had gone and the victim went home to call an ambulance.

Police appeal following assault on woman in Hanham

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident on Memorial Road in Hanham.

At around 2:10am on Saturday 16th October, the 20-year-old victim was walking along Memorial road when she was approached from behind and assaulted with a solid object.

The woman managed to run away but suffered a head injury which required hospital treatment.

The man ran back to his car which was described as a silver Ford Galaxy with a taxi light on the roof. He drove off in the direction of Abbots road.

Appeal for witnesses after assault (Staple Hill)

Police are asking for help tracing two men after an assault in Staple Hill.

It’s believed they were involved in an attack on another man in Upper Station Road, a lane at the rear of the Royal Oak pub. The 36-year-old victim needed hospital treatment for a cut to his head.

One is described as aged about 19-20 years, of Mediterranean appearance, with thick dark hair. He was wearing a blue coat.

The second is around 5ft 7ins tall, of chubby build, with short mousey hair. He was wearing a brown hooded top.

They were part of a group of five that also included females. One of the group was walking a dog similar to a Stafforshire terrier.
