Conservative councillors have vowed to not to give up on efforts to improve a local community pavilion following a setback.

The Old Pavilion in Coronation Park, Cadbury Heath, narrowly lost out in the final of the Big Lottery’s People’s Millions competition on 23rd November to win the lottery funding needed for a major makeover.

The Banjo Island Community and Sports Association’s (BICSA) ‘Vision for the Pavilion’ project would have seen the dated facility undergo a substantial refurbishment with the aim of making it the focal point for the local community.
