Police recover four stolen cars from Kingswood industrial unit
Posted on Tuesday 11th January 2011 at 8:28 am by SH (Editor)Police are warning motorists in South Gloucestershire to keep an eye on their car keys after recovering four stolen cars in an operation in Kingswood.
Officers from the Priority Crime Team found the cars being stripped down when they searched a unit at the Douglas Road Industrial Estate on Wednesday 5th January 2011.
The cars included a Vauxhall Corsa taken in a car key burglary in Filton in December 2010 as well as a Toyota stolen from Pucklechurch, a Peugeot 308 stolen from Redcliffe and a Mitsubishi Lancer taken from Clifton.
Officers also recovered a number of car parts from various vehicles in the search, part of Operation Relentless: keeping you safe.
Police later arrested two men aged 20 and 24 from Longwell Green and Kingswood and a 17-year-old Kingswood woman in connection with the operation. All three were later released on police bail.
