Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Kingswood on Saturday 25th July. At around 3am a 27-year-old man was about to enter a fast food outlet on Regent Street when he was approached by an unknown man who assaulted him and dragged him down London street. The assault stopped when a member of the public intervened.

Thornbury police arrested a man in the early hours of Sunday 25th July 2010 after finding a quantity of suspected drugs in his car.
