Police appeal for witnesses following assault (Chipping Sodbury)

At around 2.45am an altercation broke out in the High Street near to the George Pub.
A 43 year old man received a number of blows to the head as a result.
Police would now appeal for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward and help with enquiries.
