The BBC’s Crimewatch programme will tonight (Tuesday) broadcast a reconstruction of the murder of Barry Rubery, who was found with fatal head injuries at his home in Crossing Cottage, Iron Acton, on the morning of Thursday 29th April.

Police believe Mr Rubery may have been the victim of a robbery which went wrong and have issued details of items believed to have been stolen during the incident.

Investigations remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the incident room on 0117 945 4057.

The independent charity Crimestoppers has offered a £10,000 reward to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons linked to Mr Rubery’s murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Garry Reeves of Avon and Somerset Police will be live in the Crimewatch studio during tonight’s programme to provide an update on the investigation.

The programme goes out tonight at 9pm on BBC1.
