Police are appealing for help identifying three teenagers involved in a robbery.

The robbery occurred outside Costcutters on Cadbury Heath Road, South Gloucestershire on Tuesday 21st September. At around 4pm a boy aged 12 was outside the shop when three teenagers demanded 50p. The victim handed over the money believing he would be hit if he didn’t do as they asked. He and four friends then started walking off down Cadbury Heath Road and into the nearby playing fields. They realised the suspects were following and the suspects then started to run after them. One of the suspects shouted out “Give me the wallet” but the victim and his friends were able to run off.

The three suspects are described as:

  • A white male, tanned, aged around 14-15-years-old, 5’8″ tall and with a thin build. He was wearing a blue jumper and a pair of baggy jeans with holes near the shins.
  • A white male, aged around 14-15-years-old, 5’3″ tall and medium build. He was wearing a yellow hooded top ad a pair of blue jeans which were long fitting.
  • A white male, aged around 14-15-years-old, 5’6″ tall and medium build. He was wearing a purple hooded top which had black writing on the back of the hood.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the descriptions of the suspects should contact Staple Hill CID on 0845 456 7000. Alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 – they never ask your name or trace your call.
